250 MAGAZINES NOW ONLINE IN LARGEST SINGLE LAUNCH OF DIGITAL PUBLICATIONS
CANTON, OH, and SAINT JOHN, NB, February 28, 2005. Harmon Media Group, a Dominion Enterprises company, who recently acquired Homes.com and just released the new version of HarmonHomes.com, today announces the launching of digital editions of more than 250 real estate magazines across all their different brands. These brands include Harmon Homes, Distinctive Homes, Home Solutions, Homes Magazine, Casas Harmon, New Homes and living, Commercial magazines etc.
Using the services of Advanced Publishing Corporation, Harmon Media Group will publish on the Internet exact digital replicas of over 250 issues each month to online Realtor advertisers and home buyers and sellers across the United States and beyond. Online readers will be able to search the issues and interact with a mouse click to visit or email advertiser web sites plus view additional property information on Homes.com and HarmonHomes.com.
“This initiative is the largest of its kind in America, to the best of our knowledge,” said Ernie Blood, Executive Vice President of Harmon Media Group. “With Advanced Publishing we were able to roll out 250 of our magazine titles across 12 different brands in less than 60 days – full color, fully interactive, fully searchable – with no added work or production staff needed. The ability to track readership information and connect with our readers on an ongoing basis is something that will set us apart from others in the real estate publications business. ”We will be the first to offer our Realtor advertiser an integrated off line and on line advertising and marketing solution, plus deliver to them on and off line leads. It brings a new reader experience to the buyers and seller in their property pursuit.” (eblood@traderonline.com)
“We feel that print and Internet work best for our customers when the strengths of both are combined,” states Dave Mangold, Vice President of Business Development of Harmon Media Group. “Print advertising provides a different consumer experience than the Internet and still reaches a large market segment. By providing an online version of our magazines we expand the effectiveness of our publications while creating a valuable new service for the consumer. Receiving an email that their new issue of the magazine they want is online is a great convenience. It also expands the reach for our advertisers outside the physical bounds of distribution by allowing consumers access to all our markets.” (dmangold@traderonline.com)
Trish Connolly, Advanced Publishing’s CEO stated, “We were thrilled at the speed and enthusiasm by which Harmon Media Group created their digital edition roll out plans. Providing digital real estate magazines from virtually every major US city to any reader worldwide in seconds creates significant value to readers and advertisers throughout Harmon’s market in the US and beyond. Harmon Media Group has a great growth strategy using innovation to enhance their competitive positioning in the real estate advertising marketplace.”
